BLACKOUT HITS TWO BATAAN TOWNS

BALANGA CITY: Power outage hit only two towns and not the whole of Bataan from 7 in the morning and to last until 7 in the evening of Thursday. Gina Jorge, information of the Peninsula Electric Cooperative (Penelco) in Balanga City, said they received information from the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines of the power interruption in Dinalupihan and part of Hermosa in Bataan. Only three barangays are without power in Hermosa, she said. Penelco is the power distributor in Hermosa, Dinalupihan and the rest of the nine towns and one city in Bataan. Based on the report of NGCP, also affected by the power blackoutare Sta. Cruz, Remedios and Guagua under Pelco I in Pampanga, Jorge said. Froilan Espinosa, leadman of Penelco, said NGCP was replacing 69 KV posts in barangay Balsik in Hermosa, triggering the power interruption.
